Absolutely love this link. The resources it points you to alone are extremely helpful. Two things I really liked was it told me if I wanted to lose "X" amount of pounds how many calories I would need to reduce a day. It also gave a link to a site where I put in my weight and the amount of time I want to exercise and it gave me the total number of calories I would burn off in that time period doing 158 different activies. Very helpful and useful information. I definitely will link some of these myself.
I love this link because it emphasizes the numbers. There's no magic involved with losing weight. Rather, you have to be conscious of calories and learn how to count them. For me that has been the most effective strategy toward maintaining and losing weight.
This article combines some great information on this diet which is really more than what most would consider a "diet". This may only be an 8-week plan, but it really teaches weight loss instead of telling you how to lose weight. After your 8-weeks you will understand why certain nutritional aspects work and how exercise works in combination as well. Great grouping of information!
