This article just briefly talks about Lexapro and its effect on weight. There is one question about it causing weight gain and the answer is that it has not been proven that it causes weight gain (which is good news). I thought with this being a Lexapro weight loss side effect page that it would talk about it being used for depression as well as weight loss, but it seems from this that it does not really have an effect.
