Even though some of this information most of us already know (like how to read a food label) it is still a good resource. In addition to providing you information on food labels it tests you throughout the presentation on what you think just by looking at certain foods as far as how many calories it may have or how many serving sizes are contained. Definitely a good resource for anyone considering counting calories as part of their diet.

A good first step towards an effective diet. Even though reading a food label may seem simple, they are often misleading.

This is a MUST read! Sure, we all know how to read a label however, you have to be careful and make sure you pay attention to serving sizes as well as a balance of nutritional content. Since most of us find ourselves shopping more while on a diet we must make the proper decisions based on labels or all of the efforts are lost when it comes to losing weight. The worst thing that can happen on a diet is doing everything right and not seeing the results. If you "think" the foods you are eating well balanced, but you didn't read the nutritional information on the label correctly your chances of losing weight are much less likely.
