This article gives you nine steps to effectively go on a diet and lose weight. Most of what is said here you have heard or read at one time or another but when starting a diet it definitely helps to have all of these tips together in one convenient place. All of these steps make absolute sense and nothing gimmicky here.

For the sake of full disclosure, I used to be a writer for eHow. This is a decent article, and is a very quick summary of some dieting tips. If you only have 2 minutes to figure out your diet and fitness strategy, read this article. Hopefully, though, you'll devote a little more time to your health than that, in which case you can skip this article and head for some "meatier" content on other sites.
