Meal planning guidelines take a lot of the guesswork out if your a new diabetic. Things like counting carbohydrates and using exchange lists are discussed. My favorite part of this article is it tells you what percentage of your daily calories should come from carbs, protein, and fats. I don't see how you could make it any less complicated. Another great article from the Mayo site.
