This is a video! This is an extreme diet with a max. of 800 calories daily which will cause you to lose weight but just like all the other fad diets tough to sustain!

good quick overview of Siegal (sp?) diet - interesting that the doctor who poo-poos it at first is actually doing his own cookie diet!?

Best link I've seen so far that actually briefly discusses this diet. I appreciate both sides of this argument (both the interview with the maker of the cookie as well as another doctor explaining that something like this can't work). However considering the fact that the second doctor is now making his own cookie diet certainly doesn't lend any kind of weight to his argument. Both sides however stressed the importance of seeking medical supervision before starting this or any diet, which is the best information provided here.

Entertaining enough, I suppose, but it doesn't really tell you much about how the cookie diet works (or doesn't work). Two doctors interviewed, and both apparently are marketing their own cookie diets. Shoddy reporting? Par for the course.

What appetite-suppressant drug is in the cookie?

Unfortunately, the best information I found here was the repeated phrase telling the listener to only undertake this diet under the supervision of a doctor. The same could be said for any and all diets including seriously dangerous ones. No real information was given here. I'm not a dieter, so I didn't know anything about it prior to this video. I still feel that I know next to nothing about it. If I want the amino acids, etc I'll get them in a healthier fashion. I saw no claim here that this was a good substitute for restriction of calories, a healthy diet, and plenty of exercise/activity.

This is interesting information about the diet. Would have like to seen more unbiased opinions about the cookie diet.
