Somewhat hidden in this pretty good page is the fact that the author is also the author of a competing diet plan, which raises a red flag for me.

It's difficult to confirm actual results and long term outcomes with this limited information provided. I can't imagine any doctor would recommend this diet unless there is an extreme problem in which case you should be speaking with your doctor directly!

Interesting to read about the diet and thyroid connection. I would have like to see what the dr's position was on how that works in more detail. Good that there are links to more information about thyroid testing and weight problems.
