This article makes an excellent point about women my age: As a result of declining sex hormone levels, lack of physical activity, chronic stress, and overeating, women in this Milestone are at high risk for accumulating Toxic Fat. Yes, Toxic fat. It happens from depression, too. Depression and anti-anxiety pills for me, + blood pressure pills, a happy relationship, and that garden are making me lose weight. But I think that all these books don't take into account something the great Alice Waters says. Grow your own food. Use good olive oil. Learn to cook differently.
