The 5 factor diet is almost : ) a perfect LIFESTYLE!!! Some might debate the actual number “5” however, this is such a step in the RIGHT DIRECTION when it comes to diets (if you want to call it that)! I hate that it’s tied to the word “diet” or associated with Hollywood but what ever it takes I say… I’ll talk more about this later but I’ll make this post fairly simple/basic. Eating 5 times a day instead of 5 is one of the BEST things you could ever do, specifically for your metabolism (it SPEEDS it up). The 5 components of food are basically the revised food groups (just make sure it’s balanced). Only 5 minutes to prepare? I haven’t read enough of the recipes to know for sure but it’s certainly one of the biggest road blocks for most people (I personally cook in bulk a few times a week and that helps a lot). 5 days of working out with 5 exercises for 5 minutes each - I can agree but know that a little bit more time and some extended cardio is IDEAL… The BIG one… CHEAT DAYS! OK, cheat days are fine and you’ll get some debate from experts and others but here is how it works in theory. If you are eating the proper foods 5 times a day and exercising 5 days a week for (let’s say) a MINIMUM of 25 minutes your body really becomes a fine tuned machine and your metabolism increases. If you cheat just ONCE a week your boddy really doesn’t make any adjustments to the extra sugar and or fats, try it again and your body starts to move back to a slower metabolism (ie; it begins to store sugar & fat you know where). Your body will process the cheat day fats and sugar like it does your NORMAL 5 meals a day WITHOUT storing it as reserves (FAT)!
