A very interesting article about why adult women may develop an eating disorder and how the media can put pressure on women to be "perfect".
Very good article that brings up a good point that as a society in general we are a lot harder on women then we are men when it comes to looks. We tend to judge a woman by what she looks like before we listen to what she says. Consequently women tend to think that, if only they could get thinner or be thin, then things would get better. Shows us how we need to take care of ourselves emotionally while taking care of the outside. And realize that what is inside counts.
Anorexia is not something that effects young girls only. Many older women also struggle with eating disorders and this article gives some insight into that.
